Taming your Mind

By.K.N.Subramanyam
The clouds that wander through the sky have no roots, no home, Nor do the distinctive thoughts floating through the mind.

Once the self-mind is seen, Discrimination stops Beauty and ugliness, good and bad, happiness and suffering - all depend upon mind.

If you don’t try to stop whatever is going on in your mind, but merely observe it, eventually you’ll begin to feel a tremendous sense of relaxation, a vast sense of openness within your mind – which is in fact your natural mind, the naturally unperturbed background against which various thoughts come and go Let go of what has passed.Leo go gf what may come

.Let go of what is happening now. Don’t try to figure anything out.Don’t try to make anything happen.Relax, right now, and rest We are very good at preparing to live, but not very good at living.

We know how to sacrifice ten years for a diploma, and we are willing to work very hard to get a job, a car, a house, and so on. But we have difficulty remembering that we are alive in the present moment, the only moment there is for us to be alive.

To know that you are a prisoner of your mind, that you live in an imaginary world of your own creation is the dawn of wisdom. To want nothing of it, to be ready to abandon it entirely, is earnestness. Since you cannot tame the minds of others until you have tamed your own, begin by taming your own mind. .
